Galardonado Creador y Artista de la Compañía Marvel, el ascenso meteórico que llevo al estrellato a Arthur Suydam por la afamada serie MARVEL ZOMBIES que rompió los records de venta en la categoría de Novela Gráfica lo cual lo pone inmediatamente en la categoría de Leyenda del Comic.
 

El portadista Arthur Suydam se encargó de realizar series como Deadpool, Marvel Zombies, Marvel Zombies: Dead Days, Marvel Zombies 2, Marvel Zombies 3, Batman, Wolverine, Fantastic Four, The Incredible Herc, X-Men, Ghost Rider, Thor, Spider-Girl, Black Panther, Cronicas de Oz y más.

Arthur Suydam ha sido premiado recientemente con el Spike TV Scream Award (mejor escritor, mejor artista, mejor comic del año) por la historia Christmas Carol y esta ha sido incluida en el libro: The Mammoth Book of Horror and Legends el cual contiene las mejores historia de horror en comic de todos los tiempos y el arte del Comic artisticiamente pintado (2008). Suydam tambien ha sido premiado por varias autoridades tales como el Spectrum Gold Award para ilustradores de Excelencia, El Premio del Festival de Filmes San Sebastian, así como un reconocimiento a su trayectoría por parte de la Universidad de Maryland de la Costa este, y numerosas menciones en sitios de fans alrededor del mundo.

En el año 2008 Marvel sacó a la venta un exclusivo libro de pasta dura para hacer un tributo al trabajo de Suydam, Marvel Zombies: The Covers.

Entre sus trabajos más recientes se encuentran: Dynamite’s Army of Darkness, Savage Tales, Red Sonja y las dos series exitosas: Army of Darkness vs. Marvel Zombies y Raise the Dead. Algunos trabajos donde Suydam participó: Batman vs. Predator, Conan el Bárbaro (Conan The Barbarian), Tarzan y La casa de los Secretos (House of Secrets).
 

Suydam cuenta con muchos proyectos independientes tales como Mudwogs y Mudwogs 2, The adventures of Cholly & Trap, Center City, realizado en conjunto con Radical entertainment : The Day it Rained Eggs, Love Me, Love My Demon y muchas obras más.

Un gran Fan the Marvel Comics, Suydam también fue incluido para ciertos proyectos selectos en los cuales se incluyen Hard Case Crime, realizando portadas retro-inspiradas de Dead Street de Micky Spillane, Shooting Star de Robert Bloch y Fright de Cornell Woolrich.

El trabajo y estilo Inmerso de ilustración y redacción de Suydam tienen un toque aestico que lo vuelve único y distinguido asi como orgánico y poetico. Suydam’s popular covers have graced the covers of Deadpool ,  Marvel Zombies, Dead Days, Marvel Zombies #2, Marvel Zombies#3,  Batman, Wolverine, Fantastic Four, The Incredible Herc, X-men, Ghost Rider, Thor, Spider Girl, Black Panther, Oz Chronicles and more.

Suydam’s own projects are numerous and include Mudwogs and Mudwogs II, and The Adventures of Cholly & Flytrap, Center City, released through Radical Entertainment, The Day it Rained Eggs , Love Me, Love My Demon and many more.

Suydam’s immense body of written and illustrative work comprises an aesthetic that is as uniquely distinguishable as it is organic and poetic.
In addition to his own works, Suydam has contributed text and artwork to countless  publications including the highly acclaimed re-release of the children’s classics, Bre’r Rabbit and The Wind in the Willows.

A life-long fan of Marvel comics, Suydam also branches out with select projects that include film noir for Hard Case Crime, where Suydam provides retro-inspired covers for such titles as Mickey Spillane’s newly released Dead Street, Robert Bloch’s Shooting Star and Fright by Cornell Woolrich Noir pulp great Mickey Spillane’s final novel released this year Dead Street, The Tick, and more.

 As a world class musician Suydam has composed and performed numerous film soundtracks . In 2008 Marvel released an exclusive hard cover tribute to the works of this unique artist entitled Marvel Zombies, The Covers dedicated to Suydam’s groundbreaking work.
